Citi and AT&T Team Up to Announce Bonus Savings to New AT&T Universal Cardmembers
The growing capabilities of smartphones are convincing more and more consumers to upgrade to more advanced devices. Through its unique relationship with AT&T, Citi, a leading provider of credit cards, is offering a $50 bonus savings credit to customers who open an AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards Card between June 29, 2010 and August 15, 2010. Customers can use this savings as they advance to the latest AT&T mobile devices in addition to enjoying the ongoing benefits and savings built-in to the card.
"Our customers tend to be tech-savvy, and often lead busy on-the-go lifestyles, so we’re continually looking to serve their needs, and make their lives easier. Increasing value and savings on their mobile phone solutions, which can often change as technology advances, are ways that we deliver on this commitment,” said Paul Galant, CEO, Citi Cards. "The new offer on our AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards Card expands the savings that customers can earn, which, in many cases, can help in upgrading to a new mobile device.”
Through this limited-time offer, customers who open a new AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards Card will receive a $50 bonus savings credit when they spend $50 or more within the first three months of becoming a cardmember. The AT&T Universal Savings Cards are the only credit cards that offer savings on AT&T purchases and services – up to 10% during the first 12 months and 5% ongoing. Cardmembers receive these savings as an automatic statement credit, and can save up to $350 a year.
In addition to offering unique savings, AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards cardmembers also earn 1 ThankYou® Point for every dollar spent on non-AT&T purchases through the Citi® ThankYou Rewards Network, a free rewards program featuring millions of rewards including merchandise, music downloads, travel and gift cards at leading retailers and restaurants.
