White joined Bank of America from Morgan Stanley.

"Over his 13 years at our company, Tom White has participated in the growth of our investment banking and capital markets platform from a fledgling start-up to a market leader," said Taylor. He will capitalize on our strengths in distribution and in high-grade debt, leveraged finance, structured products, syndications, liquid products and equity derivatives to lead the continued growth of Global Markets."

"Bank of America's ongoing commitment to building its investment bank has led to sustained organic growth in the platform," White said. "We are increasingly recognized by clients for our depth and breadth of capabilities, the strength of our balance sheet, and our laser focus on client solutions. I am pleased and honored to have the opportunity to lead such a significant part of our organization."

Taylor also announced that Mark Werner will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. "We thank Mark for his contributions to our business and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Taylor.
