The Home Depot Announces Plans for 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

ATLANTA, March 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Home Depot(R), the world's largest home improvement retailer, today announced that it will hold its 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, May 24 in Atlanta, Georgia. The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Additional details regarding the shareholder meeting will be available when the Company files its proxy statement. An audio webcast of the meeting will be available for shareholders who are unable to attend.
