Bank of America Promotes Martin Richards to Global Commercial Banking Executive for the Pacific Northwest Region
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America announced today that Martin Richards has been promoted to Global Commercial Banking executive for the Pacific Northwest Region. Richards recently relocated back to San Francisco, where he previously served as the Commercial Banking market executive for the Bay Area.

In his new role, Richards is responsible for leading the delivery of the full resources of Bank of America to companies with revenues of $2.5 million to $2 billion in Northern California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Canada and Hawaii. He is also a member of the bank's Management Operating Committee.
Most recently, Richards served as Commercial Banking executive for the company's Central Region, which includes Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Arizona.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Richards worked as a consultant with Johnson & Johnson in its healthcare technology subsidiary (eJNJ). Before that, he was senior vice president - Business Development for Carethere, Inc., a healthcare internet company, leveraging industry expertise he developed while with the West Coast practice of First Union Securities Health Care Investment Banking group. Richards began his career in 1992 as a commercial client manager at Maryland National Bank, a legacy Bank of America institution.
He has an MBA from Loyola College, Baltimore, and undergraduate and post- graduate diplomas in finance and management from Ealing College and Kingston University in England. He holds Series 7, 63 and 24 NASD licenses.
