Xiaomi Launches M1 Note, Pro Phablets

(RTTNews) - Xiaomi Inc., a strong rival of Apple's iPhone in China and other Asian countries, launched two more phablets with rich specs and modest pricing. Both the handsets, Xiaomi M1 Note and Note Pro are thinner than iPhone 6 Plus and priced much lower.

The new models are weighed at 161 grams, with a thickness of 6.95 millimeter. M1 Note is loaded with high end features such as 13 mega pixel rear camera from Sony and 4 mega pixel front camera.

M1 Note has a display of 5.7 inch with 2.5 GHz processor, 3 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Meanwhile the premier model M1 Note Pro has a 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built in memory. Price tag for M1 Note is 2299 yuan or $371, while M1 Note Pro is priced at 3299 yuan or $532.

M1 Note has a touchscreen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, while the Pro is with a better resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. The presence of sensors such as compass, magnetometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, barometer, temperature sensors help catch the attention of new generation mobile users.

The China-based innovative start-up company, which started just four year back nicknamed "Apple of China" has doubled its revenue to 74.3 billion yuan or $11.99 billion in 2014, from last year.
