Vivendi: Maroc Telecom Sale Closing Expected on May 14

Vivendi (Paris:VIV) today announced that all the conditions precedent to the sale of its 53% shareholding in Maroc Telecom to Etisalat have now been fulfilled.

The final agreement was signed on November 4, 2013, and the closing of the transaction is expected on May 14.

This divestment is in line with Vivendi’s strategy, initiated in the Spring of 2012, to focus on and develop its media and content activities.
