Vivendi: clarification

In an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro, Martin Bouygues has given his own one-sided version of the story concerning the SFR disposal.

Vivendi (Paris:VIV) reaffirms that the process undertaken and leading to the selection of the Altice/Numericable offer was followed with absolute transparency and constant concern for the best interests of the company, its employees and shareholders. This was carried out despite constant negative pressure and questioning of the work of the Vivendi teams.

Vivendi refuses to enter into a debate with Mr. Bouygues but reserves all its rights.
