Nike Boosts Quarterly Dividend 17%

(RTTNews) - Nike, Inc. (NKE) said Thursday that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.28 per share on the company's outstanding Class A and Class B Common Stock.

The $0.28 quarterly dividend, which is payable on January 5, 2015, to shareholders of record on December 15, 2014, represents a 17% increase over the previous quarterly rate of $0.24.

"NIKE has a consistent track record of delivering value to our shareholders and today's announcement marks the 13th consecutive year we've increased our dividend," said Mark Parker, President and CEO of Nike Inc.
