Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. Names Esat Sezer Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Coca-Cola Enterprises (NYSE: CCE) announces that Esat Sezer has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective October 11, 2006. Mr. Sezer, 44, will oversee the company’s technology and information capabilities, and will report to John F. Brock, president and chief executive officer. "Esat has more than 20 years of global information technology experience,” said Mr. Brock. "His proven leadership skills and his expertise in enterprise-wide SAP implementation will help Coca-Cola Enterprises expand the capabilities and technologies necessary to better engage our employees and provide unparalleled service to our customers.” Most recently, Mr. Sezer served as Corporation Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Whirlpool Corporation, a position he held since 2002. Prior to joining Whirlpool Corporation as Vice President, Global Information Services in 2001, Mr. Sezer held several positions of increasing responsibility with Colgate-Palmolive Co., including Director, Global Information Technology (1999-2001); Director, Europe/Africa/Middle East Division (1996-1998); Associate Director, Global Applications (1996-1997); and Director, Information Technology (1994-1996 in Warsaw, Poland; 1991-1994 in Istanbul, Turkey). From 1988 to 1991, he was a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting in London. Born and raised in Istanbul, Mr. Sezer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and his Master of Science in Quantitative Analysis from Istanbul University. Mr. Sezer will replace Bill Hartman, vice president, Information Technology. "Bill has been an integral part of our executive leadership team. We would like to thank him for taking a leave from his company, Brand Velocity, to lead our IT group over this past year, and we wish him much continued success,” said Mr. Brock. Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. is the world’s largest marketer, distributor, and producer of bottle and can liquid nonalcoholic refreshment. Coca-Cola Enterprises sells approximately 80 percent of The Coca-Cola Company’s bottle and can volume in North America and is the sole licensed bottler for products of The Coca-Cola Company in Belgium, continental France, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Monaco, and the Netherlands.
