Clear Channel Television's President & CEO William G. Moll Elected Vice Chairman, World Board of the USO
In his new role, Mr. Moll will work closely with the CurrentChairman, John Gottschalk, CEO of Omaha World Herald, and other WorldBoard of Governors to further the organization's mission of extendinga touch of home to the military.
"For more than 60 years, the USO has consistently deliveredcomfort, morale and recreational services to members of the U.S.military and their families worldwide, and I am fortunate to have theopportunity in this position to help the USO continue that traditionof support for our men and women in uniform," said Moll. Clear Channel Communications received the United ServiceOrganization's (USO) 2005 Award of Appreciation for providing over$1.5 million in promotional support through the company's radio,television, outdoor and entertainment divisions. This support helpedenable the organization to distribute thousands of care packages andpre-paid phone cards to troops serving overseas.

In addition tothe USO, Mr. Moll serves as a member of the Board of Directors of theNational Association of Broadcasters, Board of Directors of theUniversity of the Incarnate Word, Board of Directors, San Antonio Zoo,UPN Board of Governors, and Vice President of the Muscular DystrophyAssociation (Tucson).
Moll is also Former Chairman of TVB (New York); Former Chairman ofthe Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America (Cincinnati);Former Chairman of the San Antonio Art Institute; and has served onthe national boards of the Advertising Council; Media Partnership fora Drug Free America; IRTF (International Radio-TV Foundation); BoyScouts of America, Greater New York Council; CBS Television NetworkAffiliates Board and numerous other positions.
