AMD Momentum Builds as Industry Continues to Embrace AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology
AMD (NYSE:AMD) today announced that Falcon Northwest has joinedthe ranks of computer manufacturers and system builders supporting AMDTurion(TM) 64 mobile technology. Falcon Northwest, a custom systembuilder serving the PC gamer market, has selected AMD Turion 64 mobiletechnology to power the new FragBook TL-2 notebook, allowing gamersextraordinary levels of performance and mobility.
Designed to meet the needs of today's highly mobile consumers andbusiness professionals, AMD Turion 64 mobile technology offers 64-bitcomputing, protection from certain malicious viruses with EnhancedVirus Protection(a), and compatibility with the latest graphics andwireless solutions.
