Amazon Getting Big Jump On Black Friday Deals

(RTTNews) - Online retailer Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) will start offering its holiday deals on November 20, with new deals added every five minutes for eight straight days.

Usually, online retailers offer big deals on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving day in the U.S., however, Amazon has instead expanded the holiday deals to 8 days, with deals added every five minutes for eight straight days at www.amazon.com/blackfriday.

Meanwhile, online shoppers will also get access to 10 "coveted" deals on Thanksgiving day and on Black Friday.

This year, Amazon is introducing more than 150 hand-picked Lightning Deals only through the Amazon Mobile Shopping App. Additionally, prime members will get 30-minutes early access to the majority of these Lightning Deals.

"Last year, total holiday sales from the Amazon Mobile Shopping App doubled in the U.S. and Black Friday had the most rapid growth in mobile shopping," Amazon said in a statement.

This year, Amazon has also started "Watch A Deal" option for shoppers, which allows them to pick the deals they're most excited about and receive a notification to their mobile device when the deal is live.

"Customers can truly sit back and relax with their family and friends this holiday season knowing that they will be notified as soon as the products they've had their eye on are about to go on sale," said Steve Shure, Vice President, Amazon Consumer Marketing.

Here are some of the deals Amazon customers can find: *Kindle Paperwhite for $99.99 and and Fire, $34.99. *45%off on select Samsung and LG TVs. *Acer Home Theater Projector for $299.00 *$50 off Xbox One consoles *50% off Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones
