Adobe Systems Inc. Q3 Earnings Climb 48%

(RTTNews) - Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) released a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $357.44 million, or $0.71 per share. This was up from $241.93 million, or $0.48 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.68 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 20.7% to $1.40 billion. This was up from $1.16 billion last year.
