Adobe Systems Inc. Profit Climbs 45% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) revealed earnings for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $0.55 billion, or $1.10 per share. This was up from $0.38 billion, or $0.75 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.01 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 26.0% to $1.84 billion. This was up from $1.46 billion last year.
