London, 14 November 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has today assigned a provisional (P)Ba2 rating to the proposed issuance of Subordinated Resettable Fixed Rate Notes (the Hybrid) by Lanxess AG ("Lanxess"). The rating outlook is stable. The size and completion of the Hybrid transaction are subject to market conditions.
