Telefonica H1 Profit Climbs, Ups FY Revenue View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Spanish telecom group Telefonica SA (TDE.L, TEF) Thursday said its first-half net profit climbed 105.4 percent to 3.693 billion euros.

Earnings per share of 0.75 euros per share doubled from the same period of 2014.

Operative income before depreciation and amortization or OIBDA increased 7.2 percent to 7.320 billion euros.

Revenues increased 12.5 percent to 23.419 billion euros during the first half of the year, boosted by mobile data.

Further, Telefónica raised its revenue growth guidance for the full year to >9.5 percent from the previous >7 percent.
