Steve Harvey Gettin' Busy on the Airwaves
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Premiere Radio Networks' Steve Harvey is not only bringing his radio listeners top notch guests this week -- Magic Johnson yesterday, Deborah Norville today, and Reverend Al Sharpton, New York City Mayor Bloomberg and Spike Lee on Friday -- he's also making the rounds on television. Earlier in the week, he hosted the BET Comedy Awards. On October 5, he will also co-host the popular entertainment news TV show, "Extra." Then on October 12, he will be a guest on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."
Originating from Inner City Broadcasting's WBLS-FM in New York, "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" launched on September 19 and will go into national syndication on Oct. 3. Listeners will be able to tune in on the following stations: WSRB-FM and WYRB-FM in Chicago, WMXD-FM in Detroit, and KDKS-FM in Shreveport, La.
A Renaissance man, Harvey is best known as a certified "King of Comedy." He has graced the silver screen in the films "The Original Kings of Comedy," "You Got Served" and "Johnson Family Vacation." He has starred in his own TV series, "The Steve Harvey Show," and was the host of "It's Showtime at the Apollo."
