    SAINT PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2005--St. Paul Travelers (NYSE:STA) today announced that it has been named the preferred provider for bank insurance products by the California Independent Bankers (CIB).
    St. Paul Travelers is now the preferred provider of coverages such as directors and officers liability, property-casualty coverages, financial institution bond, kidnap and ransom, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, and bankers professional liability to the 150 member banks of the CIB.
