Regenersis' Depot Business Wins Mexican Contract From Sony - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Regenersis Plc (RGS.L), an outsourcing partner to consumer technology companies, Monday announced significant new contract wins in its Depot business. The company expects these new business wins to deliver in excess of 15 million pounds annualised revenue for the Depot division once they have reached their anticipated run rate.
In Mexico, the company has been awarded a repair and refurbishment contract with Sony Mobile, a division of Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Corp. (SON.L, SNE). This contract has already begun operational ramp up in Mexico City facility.
Regenersis Poland has secured an addition to its strategic partnership with HTC, under which additional device volumes from EMEA will be processed by Regenersis Poland. This contract will materially increase the volume of HTC units handled by Regenersis from the second half of the current financial year.
Further, the company received an aftermarket and repair service solution contract for a US based global company in the Business to Business segment. It will be delivered through three of the firm's European facilities and includes component level repair and returns management. Further, Regenersis has secured several new repair contracts for insurance customers to be serviced from Poland and Romanian facilities, including screen refurbishment and advanced motherboard repairs. Matthew Peacock, Executive Chairman, said, "These new contracts underpin management's existing growth forecasts for the Depot division of the Group this year."
