Prospect Capital Q4 Net Income Rises 32%

(RTTNews) - Prospect Capital Corp. (PSEC) reported net assets resulting from operations, or net income, for the fourth quarter of $94.8 million or $0.26 per share, compared to $71.7 million or $0.21 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Net investment income for the fourth quarter was $89.5 million or $0.25 per share, compared to $84.1 million or $0.25 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total investment income for the fourth quarter rose to $198.83 million from $182.84 million a year ago

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.25 per share on revenue of $203.83 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
