Petroplus Announces Executive Management Change
Regulatory News:
Petroplus Holdings AG (SIX:PPHN) announced today that Chester J. Kuchta, Chief Operating Officer, has resigned from the Company, effective August 31, 2011 to pursue other business opportunities in the United States of America.
Commenting on the management change, Jean-Paul Vettier, Petroplus’s Chief Executive Officer, said "I would like to thank Chester for his services to Petroplus. Since his arrival in the spring of 2006, he has been a key member of the management team that reorganized and grew the Company to become the largest independent refining company in Europe. Chester played an important role in refinery acquisitions in 2006, 2007, and 2008 and in the integration of these acquisitions into Petroplus’ refinery system. We would like thank him for his contributions and wish him every success in the future.”
Petroplus Holdings AG is the largest independent refiner and wholesaler of petroleum products in Europe. Petroplus focuses on refining and currently owns and operates five refineries across Europe: the Coryton Refinery on the Thames Estuary in the United Kingdom; the Antwerp Refinery in Antwerp, Belgium; the Petit Couronne Refinery in Petit Couronne, France; the Ingolstadt Refinery in Ingolstadt, Germany; and the Cressier Refinery in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The refineries have a combined throughput capacity of approximately 667,000 barrels per day.
