Peter Blackmore Joins Unisys as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing

    BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 2005--Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) announced today that Peter Blackmore, 57, has joined the company as executive vice president, worldwide Sales and Marketing, reporting to Unisys President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph W. McGrath. In addition, Blackmore has been elected a corporate officer by the Board of Directors. Most recently, he was executive vice president, Customer Solutions Group, Hewlett-Packard Company (HP.)

    As head of HP's Customer Solutions Group, Blackmore led worldwide sales for all commercial and public sector customers. Following HP's merger with Compaq Computer Corp., Blackmore spearheaded the HP Enterprise Systems Group and led HP's enterprise computing business back to profitability.

    Blackmore joined Compaq in 1991 and served there in a number of senior management positions, most notably as executive vice president of worldwide Sales and Services. He also was senior vice president, North America, and vice president and general manager, Enterprise Systems Europe. Before joining Compaq, Blackmore was marketing director for Rank Xerox in the United Kingdom. He started his career with Burroughs Corporation, where he held senior sales and marketing management positions in the United Kingdom and globally.
    Blackmore is a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge, and holds a Master's Degree in Economics.
