PayPal Expects 2015 Net Revenues To Grow 15% - 18%
(RTTNews) - PayPal Holdings, Inc. (PYPL) announced the company expects full year 2015 GAAP earnings per share in the range of $0.94 - $0.98 and non-GAAP pro-forma earnings per share in the range of $1.23 - $1.27. PayPal expects net revenues to grow 15% - 18% on an FX neutral GAAP basis and 15% - 18% on an FX neutral non-GAAP pro forma basis.
For the third-quarter, GAAP net income was $301 million or $0.25 per share, and non-GAAP net income was $377 million or $0.31 per share, driven primarily by growing relevancy with its customer base. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.29 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For the third-quarter, the company reported record revenue of $2.26 billion, an increase of 15% on a non-GAAP pro forma basis and 19% on a foreign currency (FX) neutral basis. Analysts expected revenue of $2.27 billion for the quarter. The company grew its customer base to 173 million active customers.
