Ormat Technologies Posts Q1 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ormat Technologies Inc. (ORA) Thursday reported first-quarter profit of $21.6 million or $0.47 per share, compared to a loss of $5.0 million or $0.11 per share in the same period last year.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.21 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 19.8 percent to $142.4 million from $118.9 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $133.68 million.
