Ooma Completes 2600Hz Acquisition

(RTTNews) - Telecommunications company Ooma, Inc. (OOMA) Monday said it has closed the acquisition of 2600Hz, Inc., a communications applications provider.

The deal, which included nearly $33 million in cash, was completed on October 20.

Ooma expects 2600Hz to add nearly $7 million in annual recurring revenue.

"With the transaction, Ooma takes over the direction and development of 2600Hz's technology road map and will complement the 2600Hz offerings with Ooma's proprietary intellectual property to create more powerful, scalable and open communications solutions for the industry," Ooma said.
