Occidental Petroleum Appoints Chris Stavros As Executive Vice President, CFO

(RTTNews) - Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY) Friday named Chris Stavros as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Stavros will lead the Controller, Treasury and Tax functions as well as take charge of Investor Relations and Communications and Public Affairs. He has overseen Investor Relations at Occidental since 2006 and became Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer, in 2012.

The company further named Ioannis Charalambous as Vice President and Chief Information Officer; Ben Figlock, as Vice President and Treasurer; and Jennifer Kirk, as Vice President and Controller.

In addition, the company named WCW Chiang to the post of Executive Vice President, Operations; Vicki Hollub to the post of President, Occidental Oil and Gas - Americas; and appointed Edward Lowe as President, Occidental Oil and Gas - International.

Marcia Backus will continue as Vice President and General Counsel and assume the roles of Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer.
