Nvidia Q4 Profit Declines; Issues Q1 Revenue Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $147 million, or $0.25 per share, compared to $174 million or $0.28 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $187 million or $0.32 per share, compared to $215 million or $0.35 per share in the prior year quarter.

Revenue for the latest fourth quarter rose to $1.14 billion from $1.11 billion in the same quarter last year.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.18 per share on revenue of $1.05 billion for the fourth quarter.

Looking forward, the company said it expects first quarter revenue to be $1.05 billion, plus or minus 2%. Analysts currently expect the company to post revenue of $1.00 billion for the first quarter.
