Northern Trust Makes Senior Securities Lending Appointment

Northern Trust (Nasdaq: NTRS) today announces the appointment of Joseph Gillingwater as head of fixed income securities lending trading for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Based in London, Gillingwater forms part of Northern Trust’s global securities lending team where he is responsible for all aspects of fixed income trading strategy. He reports to John Irwin, head of international trading in EMEA & APAC.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Gillingwater was a senior portfolio manager at State Street Global Advisors where he was responsible for the management of securities lending investments.
