Northern Trust Agrees To Buy Equity Brokerage Firm Aviate Global - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Northern Trust Corp. (NTRS) announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Aviate Global LLP, an institutional-focused equity brokerage firm.

The acquisition is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2016. The deal is subject to applicable regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

Aviate offers market research, trading and execution services with licenses in multiple global jurisdictions.
