Netezza and Aginity Accelerate Customers’ Migration to TwinFin Appliance
Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ), the global leader in data warehouse, analytic and monitoring appliances, and Aginity LLC, a leading data warehouse consulting company, today announced the Netezza® Enterprise Data Factory™, also known as the Netezza EDF. The Enterprise Data Factory includes tools, best practices, and design patterns that combine seamlessly with the development methodologies used by Netezza’s system integration partners. The Netezza EDF ensures optimal use of the Netezza TwinFin™ appliance’s unique architecture, so organizations quickly unlock the full value in enterprise data as they replace legacy database management systems.
"The Netezza EDF assures that our customers create extremely resilient and robust data analytics solutions on the entire range of Netezza appliances,” said Jon Niess, vice president, Corporate Development at Netezza. "The Netezza Enterprise Data Factory encapsulates best practices developed over many successful projects. By making this intellectual property available to our customers and global network of system integration partners, we will accelerate migrations to the TwinFin appliance.”
"We designed the Netezza Enterprise Data Factory to meet the growing information and analytic needs of the marketplace on an enterprise scale,” said Ted Westerheide, chief architect of Aginity. "It embodies best practices and design patterns in a reference architecture that leverages the power and simplicity of the TwinFin appliance. This allows our customers to rapidly deploy analytic applications, migrate from legacy ‘accidental architectures’ and handle massive amounts of data.”
Aginity and Netezza are presenting the Enterprise Data Factory to customers and partners attending Enzee Universe, Netezza’s user conference currently running in Boston.
