Mattel Inc. Reveals 17% Gain In Q4 Profit
(RTTNews) - Mattel Inc. (MAT) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line came in at $310.5 million, or $0.63 per share. This was up from $265.1 million, or $0.52 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.61 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.5% to $2.00 billion. This was up from $1.99 billion last year.
