MainStreet Bancshares Q3 Net Income Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - MainStreet Bancshares, Inc. (MNSB), the holding company for MainStreet Bank, reported third quarter net income of $6.3 million compared to $7.7 million, prior year. Earnings per share was $0.77 compared to $0.97. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.77, for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net interest income after provision for credit losses increased to $18.32 million from $18.10 million.

"The company continues to put up very strong performance metrics in spite of the rising interest rate environment," said Jeff Dick, Chairman and CEO.
