Main Street Prices $175 Mln Notes Offering

(RTTNews) - Main Street Capital Corp. (MAIN) said Friday that it has priced an underwritten public offering of $175.0 million in aggregate principal amount of its 4.50% unsecured notes due 2019.

The offering is expected to close on November 5.

Main Street plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to initially repay outstanding debt borrowed under its credit facility, and then through re-borrowing under the credit facility, to make investments in accordance with its investment objective and strategies, to make investments in marketable securities and idle funds investments, to pay operating expenses and other cash obligations, and for general corporate purposes.
