Key's Global Treasury Management Adds to Leadership Team
CLEVELAND, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- KeyBank announced today that Robert Douglas, Annette Hazapis, Cynthia Krause and Jose Mantilla have joined KeyBank Global Treasury Management (GTM) group's senior leadership team. They join a team of professionals who are focused on working with clients to ensure their cash management and global trade service needs are met. The team reports to Pam Carson, head of KeyBank Global Treasury Management.
Douglas will serve as non-credit portfolio management director. In this newly created position, he is charged with selling GTM products and services to Key's large corporate clients who are not primarily tied to the bank through credit facilities. Douglas brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He most recently served as senior vice president global treasury sales at Bank of America, where he was responsible for managing the portfolios of large corporate clients headquartered across the United States.
Hazapis has been named director of product management, overseeing the coordination and execution of GTM's product strategy. A 20-year KeyBank veteran, she most recently held the position of group leader of the Payment and Deposit Services group, which encompasses all the operations units responsible for the processing of paper and electronic transactions for depository accounts. Hazapis is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals and is actively involved in industry groups driving payments systems changes.
Krause has been appointed to sales support leader. She will also retain her role as institutional bank segment manager for the Treasury Relationship Management team, which works with all of the bank's large corporate clients nationwide. In the newly created sales support leadership position, Krause will leverage analyst expertise and develop the next generation of GTM sales, support and product professionals. Prior to joining Key in February 2003, Krause worked for TRW for more than 25 years in treasury management.
Mantilla has been named national director of treasury relationship management for the Commercial Bank, Business Banking and Public Sector businesses. He will lead an expanded client management team that deepens relationships with existing clients. Previously, Mantilla served as business institutions group leader at M&I Marshall and Ilsley Bank. Most recently, he successfully led the strategic effort to expand M&I's payment solutions to large corporations throughout the institution's footprint. Mantilla has more than 15 years of experience in treasury management sales.
The Global Treasury Management leadership team also includes: John Avallone, national director of GTM business development; Robin Cottingham, chief administrative officer; Michael Gordon, real estate capital business development director; and David Verhotz, global trade sales leader.
"Client focused innovation is our competitive advantage," said Carson. "I am delighted to have these professionals join our team.
