International Business Machines Corp. Bottom Line Declines 4% In Q3

(RTTNews) - International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) revealed earnings for third quarter that dropped from last year.

The company said its earnings declined to $3.15 billion, or $3.29 per share. This was down from $3.27 billion, or $3.34 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $3.24 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.3% to $19.23 billion. This was down from $19.28 billion last year.
