Intel To Revise Financial Reporting Structure

(RTTNews) - Intel Corp. (INTC), the world's biggest chipmaker, said Monday that starting with the publication of its first quarter results on April 14, it will revise the presentation of its operating segments to reflect the combination of the PC Client Group and the Mobile and Communications Group to create the Client Computing Group.

The new group was created to address all aspects of the client computing market segment and utilize Intel's intellectual property to offer compelling customer solutions.

The company will now report five operating segments - Client Computing group, Data Center Group, Internet of Things Group, Software and services operating segments and All other.
