The management board of the wine trading group Hawesko Holding AG (HAW GR, HAWG.DE, DE0006042708) has taken note of the announcement by Tocos Beteiligung GmbH, Ballindamm 36, 20095 Hamburg, of the intention of purchasing the share capital of Hawesko Holding AG at a price of € 40.00 per share via a voluntary takeover offer.

The management board will carefully consider its standpoint after publication of the offer documentation. The law firm White & Case LLP will support them in this process and have been given a mandate to do so.  The management board will subsequently provide a detailed statement of their position to the shareholders of Hawesko Holding AG with a recommendation. Until then, the management board recommends to the shareholders of Hawesko Holding AG to refrain from undertaking any measures with regard to the announced offer.
