Perry Solomon, vice president, Business Development and general manager,
Media Solutions, FAST has 15 years of experience developing and driving
growth strategies in the media & entertainment, technology and Internet
industries. At FAST, Solomon is responsible for go-to-market strategies
in the media, entertainment and communications industries, working with
FAST’s customers and partners globally to
transform the way they serve and profit from consumers in the digital
age.
Solomon was a founder and vice president of strategy and products at
Peppercoin, an electronic payments software company and served as a
director for Content Bridge, a business unit of Inktomi Corporation.
Prior to Inktomi, he served as product manager at Adero, Inc., a content
delivery network, where he built a globally distributed e-commerce
service for small and medium-sized digital merchants. Solomon was a
strategic change consultant in the Entertainment, Media & Communications
practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, an investment banker with Peregrine
Capital in Hong Kong and with Salomon Brothers in New York, where he
advised telecommunications/media companies on mergers, acquisitions and
fundraising.
Solomon received a bachelor’s degree in
Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan
School of Management.
