Ethan Allen Establishes a Contract Division

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (NYSE: ETH) today announced the launch of a new initiative establishing a Contract Division. Daniel Grow, former President and CEO of Drexel Heritage Furniture and most recently President of D.M. Grow Inc., will join Ethan Allen to lead the initiative. In addition, Daniel Grow will also be responsible for the growth of Ethan Allen’s International Design Center Development program.

Farooq Kathwari, Chairman and CEO, stated: "Today Ethan Allen is well positioned to participate in the contract business. We can leverage our design leadership, interior design and product engineering capabilities, strong domestic manufacturing and logistics network, and our highly recognized brand to create solutions for the contract business. Dan’s experience and knowledge of our industry provides Ethan Allen the leadership to launch the Ethan Allen Contract Division."

Mr. Kathwari further stated, "We will also continue to expand our global presence in establishing design centers. Dan will oversee the growth of our existing international design centers and lead Ethan Allen’s international sales growth effort. We are pleased to have Dan Grow join us as Vice President of our International and Contract Division and lead these initiatives.”

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is a leading manufacturer and retailer of quality home furnishings, selling a full range of products through a dedicated network of 293 interior design centers located in the United States, Canada, and overseas, of which 162 are operated by the Company. The company operates five wholesale distribution centers and 29 retail service centers. The Company owns nine manufacturing facilities including two sawmills located in the United States and one manufacturing facility in Mexico.
