Disney Expanding Soarin', Toy Story Mania Rides

(RTTNews) - Walt Disney World in Florida is expanding the capacity for two of its most popular theme park rides.

As part of its plan to spend some of its massive profits on upgrades outside of the Magic Kingdom, Soarin' in Epcot and Toy Story Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios are getting spiffed up.

"One of the things we've heard from our guests is that a visit to Walt Disney World Resort just isn't complete without enjoying the spectacular views at Soarin' in Epcot or a spin through Toy Story Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios," said Thomas Smith, Social Media Director, Disney Parks.

"Well, I'm excited to share that we are expanding both attractions by adding another theater at Soarin' and more midway track at Toy Story Mania! We'll also be updating the screens and projection system at Soarin,' bringing a visually enhanced experience."

The two rides are considered must-dos for every Disney trip, so lines get very long shortly after the parks open. In peak season, it is not unusual for standby wait times of more than two hours for park-goers who do not have FastPass+ reservations.
