NORMA Group names Norder Band best supplier in Europe

Maintal, Germany, August 14, 2018 - NORMA Group has presented Norder Band AG ("Norder Band") its Supplier Recognition Award for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Norder Band has been supplying NORMA Group with stainless steel strips for 18 years. NORMA Group honored the supplier for its outstanding performance in the areas of service, quality and delivery reliability in 2017.

"Stable partnerships with our suppliers, who share our high-quality standards, are an important building block for the success and sustained profitable growth of NORMA Group," says Bernd Kleinhens, Chairman of the Management Board of NORMA Group.

NORMA Group continuously evaluates its suppliers using a systematic rating based on numerous criteria such as product quality, financial stability, reliability and sustainability. Norder Band distinguished itself once again in 2017 with short delivery times, high service orientation and excellent customer communication.

Norder Band supplied NORMA Group plants in Germany, the UK, Portugal, Sweden, the Czech Republic and the US with over 250 different stainless steel slit strips in 2017. NORMA Group uses these strips, produced in accordance with company requirements, to manufacture metal clamps, such as the TORRO hose clamp.

NORMA Group has presented the Supplier Recognition Award to outstanding suppliers since 2014. Norder Band was also named best supplier in the EMEA region in 2016.
