DaVita HealthCare Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc (DVA), a provider of kidney dialysis services, on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $208 million or $0.96 per share compared with $212.3 million or $0.99 per share last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.89 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said the results reflects an increase in earnings attributable to noncontrolling interests.

DaVita's revenues for the quarter were $3.33 billion compared with $3.06 billion in the prior year. Analysts estimated revenues of $3.26 billion.

For the full year 2015, the company still expects operating income $1.75 billion to $1.9 billion.
