Coty Names Elio Leoni Sceti CEO

(RTTNews) - Beauty products company Coty Inc. (COTY) said Monday that seasoned fast-moving consumer goods executive Elio Leoni Sceti will join the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Leoni Sceti's official start date at Coty will be July 1.

Leoni Sceti, 49, joins Coty from the Iglo Group, Europe's leading frozen food company, where he currently serves as CEO. He previously worked for EMI Music, Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) and Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC (RB.L).

Coty's previous CEO Scannavini resigned in September for personal reasons. The company's Chairman Bart Becht has been acting as interim CEO since then. Becht will remain Chairman following the transition.

Coty shares are currently trading at $25.21, up 14 cents.
