Cisco Press Celebrates 10 Years in the Publishing Industry

Established in 1996 as the only authorized publisher ofCisco(R) certification and network technology learning materials,Cisco Press has become a leader in self-study resources for bothnetworking students and professionals. In celebration of thepublishing program's 10th anniversary, throughout 2007 Cisco Presswill offer special promotions and feature interviews with Cisco Pressauthors and leading industry experts on www.ciscopress.com. The ten-year partnership between Pearson Education and CiscoSystems(R) began when the co-publishing agreement was signed August13, 1996. "Internet Routing Architectures" by Sam Halabi was the firstoffering from Cisco Press, and immediately became a best seller in theindustry.

"The success of the first title demonstrated a real need in themarket. By working closely with Cisco Systems, Cisco Press was able todevelop and deliver a wide range of learning options for ourcustomers," said Brett Bartow, executive editor, Cisco Press.
