CBRE Group, Inc. Earnings Rise 20% In Q1

(RTTNews) - CBRE Group, Inc. (CBG) revealed a profit for its first quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $144.84 million, or $0.43 per share. This was higher than $120.84 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.34 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.6% to $2.98 billion. This was up from $2.85 billion last year.
