Amazon Go Is Grocery Store Heaven

(RTTNews) - Amazon has unveiled a new innovative brick-and-mortar grocery store as the online retail giant aims to provide shoppers a hassle free shopping experience.

The store called Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no checkout required. Customers will have to use Amazon Go app to enter the store and can take whatever products they want and can just walk out of the building without waiting in a checkout line.

The Amazon Go's technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When customers are done shopping, they can just leave the store and Amazon will charge it against their Amazon account.

The stores will sell ready-made food, staples like bread and milk, and other grocery products, however, the stores will only be about 1,800 square feet, smaller than supermarkets.

Amazon plans to open its first Amazon Go store in Seattle in early 2017.
