Alliant Energy Corp Reveals 0% Retreat In Q1 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Alliant Energy Corp (LNT) reported a profit for first quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit dropped to $96.5 million, or $0.85 per share. This was down from $96.6 million, or $0.87 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 6.0% to $843.8 million. This was down from $897.4 million last year.
