Alibaba.com is helping lower cross-border barriers with the launch of Super September
HANGZHOU, China, Sept. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Alibaba.com, the leading platform for online wholesale trade of the Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), will launch its new global "Super September" promotion on September 20th. The promotion aims to help small- and medium-sized buyers ("SMBs") lower international trading barriers in a safe and cost-effective way, while helping them generate more business opportunities during the peak sourcing season from China.
With products featured in categories like Consumer Electronics, Home & Garden, Fashion and Machinery, the event offers SMBs with the best deals of the season. And with added incentives such as free inspection on orders over US $1,000 and low minimum order quantities, Super September provides a great opportunity for both new and existing Alibaba.com users.
"Super September is Alibaba.com's endeavor to provide a one-stop online procurement solution for global SMBs that encompasses searching for products, negotiating and completing payments on a single platform while ensuring that trading on Alibaba.com is cost-effective and efficient for our buyers," said Zhang Kuo, General Manager of Alibaba.com.
A highlight of Super September is that it features suppliers offering Trade Assurance, the world's first online cross-border trade protection solution that helps create trust between suppliers and buyers. The free service is tailored with the needs of SMBs as it provides the assurance of product quality and on-time shipments with secure payment protection.
"Super September is another step Alibaba.com is taking to better connect global buyers with high quality Chinese suppliers, as well as a continuation of its mission to promote online international trade," remarked Zhang.
