Albemarle Names Sandra Rodriguez as Director of Investor Relations

BATON ROUGE, La., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albemarle Corporation has promoted Sandra B. Rodriguez to director of investor relations. In her new role, Rodriguez will oversee all investor relations activities for the company, ensuring that Albemarle's corporate strategy, business objectives, and activities are effectively communicated to the investment community, financial media and general public.

A certified public accountant, Rodriguez joined Albemarle's corporate finance group in 1994. She subsequently held key roles in integrating Albemarle's global financial business processes and systems for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Albemarle, Rodriguez worked in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche serving audit clients in various industries.

Albemarle President and Chief Executive Officer Mark C. A native of New Orleans, Rodriguez received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Louisiana State University.
