After-market Movers For July 21 (ISRG, AAPL, MSFT, YHOO, ILMN)

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (ISRG) gained 13 percent to $572.50 as its second quarter results came in above Wall Street view. Worldwide da Vinci procedures grew approximately 14% driven primarily by growth in U.S. general surgery procedures and broad-based procedure growth in Asia and other international markets.

Decliners:

Apple Inc. (AAPL) fell 7 percent to $121.13. The company's third quarter earnings and net sales surged from the year-ago quarter and topped Wall Street view. iPhone unit sales improved 35 percent on year, but declined 22 percent sequentially. At the same time, the company guided its fourth quarter revenue below the consensus estimate.

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) declined 3 percent to $45.70. The company slipped to a loss in its fourth quarter due to non-cash impairment charge related to assets associated with acquisition of Nokia Devices and Services business. Revenue for the quarter declined 5 percent, but came above the consensus estimate.

Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) was down 1 percent to $39.35. The company swung to a loss in its second quarter and its adjusted earnings per share missed Wall Street view. Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter surpassed analysts' expectation.

Illumina Inc. (ILMN) fell 10 percent to $213.00. The company's second quarter adjusted earnings per share topped Street view, while revenues missed the consensus estimate. The company raised its full year 2015 earnings forecast and backed its growth guidance for revenues.
